- We need volunteers fluent in Spanish who can help us provide our graduating high school students and university students with information on assistance programs, other than that from Mujeres en Cambio.
- We need volunteers with good Spanish language skills who can help our high school and university students navigate career possibilities.

Common Questions
can students enter the program at any time?
Girls start with Mujeres en Cambio in the 8th grade. Our commitment to them is from 8th grade through graduating from university.
how much are the scholarships?
Junior high and high school scholarships are $300 USD a year.
University scholarships are $1,200 USD a year.
HOW DOES A STUDENT GET CHOSEN FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?
Prior to the start of a new school year the President and Scholarship Chair meet with the Administrators from the 7 rural communities that MeC serves. The Administrator/Teacher recommends girls from the incoming 8th grade class for scholarships who otherwise would not be able to continue their education.
ARE THEIR GRADES CHECKED?
Four times during the school year becas (cash scholarships) are distributed. The girls bring their current grades to verify that they are maintaining a minimum of a 8 GPA (B average).
