HOW DOES A STUDENT GET CHOSEN FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?
Prior to the start of a new school year the President and Scholarship Chair meet with the Administrators from the 7 rural communities that MeC serves. The Administrator/Teacher recommends girls from the incoming 8th grade class for scholarships who otherwise would not be able to continue their education.

Four times during the school year becas (cash scholarships) are distributed. The girls bring their current grades to verify that they are maintaining a minimum of a 8 GPA (B average).
